The US Department of State said on its official Twitter page on Tuesday that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo intends to hold a special meeting with the foreign ministers of the global Anti-Daesh Coalition on 14 November in Washington, DC. The meeting's agenda will be focused on further steps to defeat Daesh*.
Earlier on Sunday, US President Donald Trump told reporters that the leader of the Daesh* terrorist group Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had been neutralised during a US-led operation in Idlib. Al-Baghdadi was allegedly chased into a tunnel and blew himself up, also taking the lives of three children.
The Global Coalition was formed in September 2014 with an official mission to combat the Daesh* terrorist group.
