Police Call off Lockdown in Brixton Following False Bomb Threat

Earlier in the day, the Met Police confirmed that the south London High Street had been put on lockdown amid reports of a suspicious vehicle found in the area.

The police have issued a statement saying that they have reopened roads in Brixton after an abandoned car near the local police station was declared non-suspicious.

​Earlier in the day, the Met police stated via Twitter that they arrived at the scene at around 8:20 pm over reports of an abandoned car near Brixton's police station. 

​Following the police report, a spokesman for Victoria Line stated that train didn't stop at the Brixton station as well.
