5.6-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Off Guatemalan Coast - USGS

In early November, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that another strong 5.6 -magnitude earthquake shook Guatemala.

The USGS has reported that a strong 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Guatemala earlier on Saturday. 

The epicentre of the quake was at a depth of 47.6 kilometres and was located 41 kilometres north of Champerico, Retalhuleu Department, and 66.7 kilometres northeast of Tiquisate in Escuintla Municipality.

​No information on casualties or damage has been reported so far.
