A 6.3-magnitude earthquake rocked Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region on Friday, the Indian Weather Office reported.

It added that the quake occurred at a depth of 190 kilometres.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.

The United States Geological Survey put the quake's magnitude at 6.1 on the Richter scale and said that the epicentre was at a depth of 210 km.
