5.8-Magnitude Quake Hits Iran's Qeshm Island in the Gulf - EMSC

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the quake occurred at a depth of 47 kilometres.

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake hit Iran's Qeshm island in the Gulf, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported.  

The epicentre of the quake was at a depth of 47 kilometres. It was located 48 km to the west of the town of Bandar ‘Abbās.

No casualties or damage have so far been reported.
