Dreamcatcher made a comeback with a new album called 'Dystopia: The Tree of Language' on 18 February. Together with the album, the MV with the original concept was released with the lead track “Scream”.

As the band explained the concept for the world of 'Dystopia' created by Dreamcatcher is a mirror that reflects reality. The Mysterious Tree, Old Man, Girl, Mask, and Dreamcatcher members themselves, all represent witch powers, while the overall message of the MV is not to get caught up in a fantasy. The “witch” concept may also be used by the band again in the future after the MV ended with the words “to be continued”.

The fresh concept quickly attracted attention, not only from Insomnias (the official name of the fandom), but globally.

Fans are ecstatic over the whole image and the music of their favourite girls in general.

Initially, Dreamcatcher consisted of five girls and the band was called MINX. The group released its debut single in 2014, but in 2016, the band’s label Happy Face Entertainment announced the band's re-debut, this time with seven members and a new name – Dreamcatcher. In 2017, the group released its first single album Nightmare.
