Big Hit Entertainment has officially announced that K-Pop phenomenon - boy band BTS - is set to release a new series of short-form videos intended to help fans from all over the world learn the Korean language.
The language program is built upon already existing variety shows such as 'Run BTS!', 'Bangtan Bomb', and 'BTS Episode' developed by the Korea Language Contents Institute (KOLCI) and professors from the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. All fans who are interested will be able to learn the phrases that BTS members frequently use, and also dive into basic Korean grammar and culture. The 3-minutes videos will be uploaded through official BTS's fan community app Weverse for free. Up to 30 episodes are scheduled for release and the first three are already available to watch and study.
Armys (official name of fandom) are happy for the opportunity to better understand the language of their favourite group and the hashtag #LearnKoreanWithBTS is currently trending worldwide.
