With New York City considered the epicentre of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US, the Brooklyn Hospital Center, like other hospitals in the city, has been scaling up to cope with the rising number of cases.
This hospital can accommodate more than 450 patients.
As of 1 April, there are more than 189,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the United States, with 4,081 deaths. More than 7,000 have recovered, according to Johns Hopkins.
