In a live video from Paris, work has resumed to restore Notre-Dame Cathedral, which was put on hold in March as part of efforts to avert the spread of coronavirus.

The workers are expected to follow social distancing rules and hygiene norms amid the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.

A major fire erupted at Notre-Dame on 15 April 2019, causing the collapse of the cathedral's spire and the partial destruction of its roof structure. The cause behind the blaze has not yet been determined, but the French authorities have ruled out criminal motives.
