Similar public actions under the banner "Not without us" have been held in Germany for six weeks but could only gather up to 20 participants due to coronavirus-related restrictions.

Germany has reported 159,119 coronavirus cases and 6,288 deaths as of 11:00 a.m. CEST, according to data provided by the World Health Organisation.
