US President Donald Trump is speaking at the "Presidential Recognition Ceremony: Hard Work, Heroism, and Hope" amid the COVID-19 pandemic at the White House, Friday.
The US remains the leader in terms of both coronavirus cases and the death toll from the disease. Earlier in April, the White House published federal guidelines inviting governors of the 50 US states to start reopening their economies and restore daily routines as soon as they notice 14 days of decline in the number of COVID-19 infections.
