Blinks (the name of the fandom of Blackpink) can celebrate the long-awaited return of their favourite band in June after a representative from YG Entertainment confirmed the information, without giving specific date or details

This comeback looks like it's going to come about a year and four months after their last release 'Kill This Love' in April last year, and many fans have been demanding further activities from their idols ever since then.

Blackpink is one of the most recognisable and popular K-pop girl bands all over the world: they were one of the first K-pop girl bands to enter the Billboard and Top Billboard charts and Forbes Korea named them the most influential celebrities in Korea in 2019. Their official Youtube channel is the most-subscribed music group channel ever. Moreover, the band made history at Coachella last year, being the first K-pop girl group to perform there.

Their acknowledgement and recognition is still rising - Blackpink will be featured on the upcoming Lady Gaga album “Chromatica” with the collab song “Sour Candy”.
This collaboration, with Ariana Grande and Elton John also featured on the album, brings with it recognition of the impact of K-pop on pop-culture worldwide.

Blinks are hoping this comeback will finally happen this time.
