UK Prime Minister Johnson Sets Out More Detailed Plan to Gradually Exit Lockdown Measures - Video

Sputnik is live from London where UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is presenting a more elaborate plan for relaxing the lockdown measures.

Johnson, who himself has recuperated from the coronavirus, announced lockdown easing measures, including the creation of a five-stage alert system in England to measure the threat level of coronavirus. The prime minister also encouraged people who cannot work from home to go to the office.

The United Kingdom has registered 215,264 cases and 31,587 death as of 11 May, according to the latest update by the World Health Organisation posted at 9:27 a.m. CEST.
