Sergei Lavrov holds a video press conference after an online meeting of the CIS Foreign Minister Council.
The meeting’s agenda included cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus, the 75th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany, and other regional and international matters.
The CIS was created in 1991 to facilitate cooperation between the former Soviet republics; the group currently includes Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
