Amid a mounting number of coronavirus cases in the country, Moscow authorities decided earlier to construct several temporary hospitals for coronavirus patients, including one on the territory of Moscow's Sokolniki Park.
The temporary hospital in Sokolniki Park is capable of hosting up to 1,200 patients, while others that are being constructed in different parts of the city will be capable of supporting between 1,800 and 4,000.
The construction is expected to be finished in late-May.
