Activists Protest Against COVID-19 Restrictions in Berlin - Video

Germany has confirmed 620 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, with the total count reaching 173,772, according to the Robert Koch Institute. The death toll grew by 57 to 7,881 people within the same time period.

A live broadcast shows activists marching from Berlin’s Alexanderplatz to the Bundestag in protest against lockdown measures.

The current regulations in Berlin ban gatherings of more than 50 people. The city has seen several protests against coronavirus restrictions in recent weeks. Over 130 people participating in protests against coronavirus restrictions in Berlin were detained ion 9 May.

At the end of April over 100 protesters were detained for violating COVID-19 social distancing rules.
