Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O'Leary has criticised the UK cabinet for its decisions on the COVID-19 pandemic, calling the response measures "idiotic".
"It is idiotic and it is unimplementable", he told BBC Radio. "This [is] the same government that has mismanaged the crisis for many weeks".
He stressed that using masks is the only way for people to travel on public transport, while the guidelines by the British government are simply made up, and can't be followed.
In the meantime, the Irish airline has reported a decline in full-year profits of over 40 million euros.
The statement comes after Health Secretary Matt Hancock said it's unlikely that foreign holidays would be possible this summer because of the pandemic.
