People Protest Against Lockdown Measures Near Bundestag in Berlin - Video

The day before, Berlin's iconic TV tower at Alexanderplatz reopened to the public, following a two-month coronavirus lockdown. Visitors. however, will have to book their visits online, wear masks, and observe social distancing rules.

Live outside Germany's federal parliament, the Bundestag, where people have gathered for anti-lockdown protests.

The last such protests took place on 16 May and ended with several protesters being detained by police.

Amid a sharp drop in the country's economy, Germany's authorities decided to reopen non-essential shops back in April. Further restrictions, including those on playgrounds, museums, and churches were dropped by early May.
