Protests in Minneapolis Continue Amid National Day of Action Against Police Aggression - Video

The demonstration was called by the National Alliance against Racist and Political Repression which is also campaigning for prisoners in detentions centres to be released amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Sputnik goes live from Minneapolis, where protests against police brutality continue following the death of George Floyd, who died on 25 May during arrest.

The National Alliance against Racism and Political Repression (NARPR) has called for a national day of action against police aggression to be held on Saturday. The organisation is also urging authorities to release prisoners from detention centres amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

The NARPR expects to see similar protests in Jacksonville, Baltimore and Dallas.
