Moscow rejects Berlin's accusations regarding the Bundestag hacking attack, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.
"We have already said and I will repeat again, we strongly reject the unsubstantiated claims made by Germany against Russia over the links of the Russian state agencies to the cyberattack on the German Bundestag in 2015," Zakharova told a briefing.
Zakharova called these accusations "nonsense" and "absurd."
This comes after last month, German prosecutors issued an arrest warrant for a Russian suspect, who was allegedly involved in the 2015 hacking of emails from computers in the Bundestag. According to German media, the suspect is a military intelligence officer Dmitry Badin. Moscow has repeatedly denied the allegations.
Commenting on the issue, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Germany still hasn't presented any evidence that Russia was involved in the 2015 Bundestag hacking attack.
