Day Two of In-Person EU Budget Summit in Brussels - Video

The countries previously failed to reach an agreement over the 750-billion euro coronavirus aid package. While Italy and Spain, severely hit by the pandemic, believe that the aid should be given as grants, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands stressed it should be provided as loans.

Leaders of the European Union member states are convening in Brussels for the second day of the Extraordinary In-Person EU Summit in order to negotiate the bloc's 2021-2027 budget and find a common stance on a coronavirus aid package to boost the economies, damaged by the COVID-19 outbreak and restrictive measures against the pandemic.
