SM Entertainment showed strong visuals of WayV, following the announcement of an English version of the track from their last release ”Awaken the World” in June. "Bad Alive" was originally written in Chinese. In addition, the group's label has shared up to three different concept photos for each member on the band's official social media accounts to tease fans on 27 July.
Despite the solo and group photo teasers, SM entertainment did not announce the date and other details of the release, but music programme “Music bank”, which airs every Friday on the channel KBS, dropped a short video teaser with the band.
WayV has already given fans a pleasant surprise, making a Korean version of the lead single "Turn Back Time", which was originally in Chinese as well.

WayV, despite being a Chinese subunit of a Korean band called NCT, topped iTunes charts in a total of 21 countries, as well as China's "QQ Music" right after the release of the album.
NCTzen (the official name for the fandom) are impatiently waiting for the release, hyped by the teasers.
