The K-pop boy band Ateez, who became culture and tourism ambassadors for South Korea in 2020, is gearing up for a charismatic comeback with their new album, set to release on 29 July. KQ Entertainment has shared MV previews for two singles, “THANXX” and “INCEPTION”, and the whole medley of the album.
The physical album will have three different versions, named "THANKXX", "INCEPTION", and "DIARY", and the group's label has shared photo teasers of all eight members of the band on official SNS regarding the different versions of the album
Pursuing a chance to get closer to the fans amid the pandemic and no ability to hold a live concert and meeting fans, the band has let their supporters choose the lead track for the album and they will announce it on an online fan-meeting event called ”ATEEZ Air Con” on 28 July.
Members of the band took part in creating the album, too: Hongjoong and Mingi both participated in writing the lyrics for the songs “FEVER”, “THANXX”, “TO THE BEST”, “INCEPTION", and “Good Lil Boy”. Hongjoong also took part in composing and arranging the last song.
