Aftermath of Deadly Explosion in Beirut as People Feared to be Trapped Under Rubble

A huge explosion devastated the Lebanese capital on Tuesday, injuring thousands and destroying parts of the city. The cause of the blast is being investigated, but according to preliminary reports, 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate, a highly explosive chemical material, were stored at a port warehouse without due safety measures.
