Each year, the German capital, Berlin, becomes the capital of light art as famous landmarks and monuments, such as the Brandenburg Gate and the Alexanderplatz TV Tower are lit up with sparkling images and animations, drawing hundreds of people who gather to get a glimpse of the spectacle.
