5.4-Magnitude Quake Hits Greek Island of Crete

A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit the Greek island of Crete on Friday, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said.

The quake was registered at 16:28 GMT, with the epicentre located at a depth of 40.5 kilometres southwest of Arvi, seismologists said.

No injuries or damage has so far been reported.
