Sputnik is live from New York City as the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly enters its third day.
The event is being held primarily via videolink because of the coronavirus pandemic. This year's session is focusing on a wide array of issues ranging from progress, peace and security to the COVID-19 pandemic and international law.
Speakers from at least 17 countries are expected to deliver remarks on Thursday morning. Another 16 speeches are expected in the afternoon.
