A massive explosion rocked the vicinity of southwestern Syrian city of Deraa, state-run broadcaster Al-Ikhbariya reported on Wednesday.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) report, the blast injured two people.
The incident occured in the central part of the city, Al-Sabil, according to the TV channel.
Deraa is located in the southwestern part of the country, some 13 kilometres from the Jordanian border and 90 kilometres from Damascus.
No further details of the incident were immediately available.
