In Russia, Pavement Pounds You: Concrete Slab Slams Car in Far East, Nearly Misses Owner - Video

The bloodchilling incident occurred on 19 November in the city of Vladivostok and almost cost the life of the owner of a car who was cleaning snow off of it.

A slab of concrete fell from an apartment building in Vladivostok and hit a car parked below, nearly cutting the vehicle in two.

A video of the incident emerged online in which the owner of the car, who had been cleaning snow off of it, is seen miraculously jumping aside as the slab destroys his Nissan.

According to a representative of the prosecution in the Primorky region, the slab was a ledge of a ventilation shaft which had been pulled down by wires covered in ice.
