Hundreds of people have gathered in Place de la Republique in central Paris demanding accommodation for migrants, after a refugee camp in Saint-Denis was evacuated by police on Tuesday.
Migrants pitched tents in Saint-Denis and have lived there for months, according to local media reports. Following the evacuation, they set their belongings on fire before leaving the camp.
