European Medicines Agency Presents Conclusion of AstraZeneca Review

Several countries have halted the use of the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine following reports that the jab could cause blood clotting. In addition, there have been reports of deaths among those who were inoculated with the UK-Swedish vaccine.

Sputnik is live from Amsterdam in the Netherlands, where the European Medicines Agency is rolling out its final review of the AstraZeneca vaccine’s safety following an extraordinary meeting.

The EMA will also announce necessary guidelines for its use.

The review comes amid reports of severe side effects and even fatalities that occurred shortly after people were administered the inoculation.
