According to a spokesperson from the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department, the suspect remains on the loose, but there is no threat to the local community.

Three people have been killed and two sustained injuries in a shooting at The Somers House Tavern in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, the police told CNN on Sunday.

The incident was reported at 12:42 a.m. local time inside the tavern. The two shot persons were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries, the police said.

The shooting is being treated as an isolated incident and is not believed to be a threat to the local community.

The police are searching for the suspect, the spokesperson for local law enforcement told the broadcaster. Nearby Sheridan Road has since been closed for traffic near the crime scene.
