Russian President Vladimir Putin Delivers Annual Address to Federal Assembly

In accordance with the Constitution, the Russian President addresses the Federal Assembly annually with a message about the situation in the country and the domestic and foreign policy agenda.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is delivering his annual address to the Federal Assembly at Moscow’s Manege Central Exhibition Hall.

The president is set to address both houses of the Russian Parliament, members of the government, as well as other officials and public figures.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov earlier emphasised that Putin will focus on systematic measures to support post-pandemic development in his annual address.

The current message will be the 27th in the recent history of Russia and the 17th for Putin.
