“We have recovered four additional victims. The number of confirmed deaths is now 32, with 26 of those identified. 191 People are accounted for and we have 113 reports of people who are potentially unaccounted for,” Cava said during a press briefing.
The tragedy in Surfside occurred early on 24 June, when a 12-story Champlain Towers South residential building partially collapsed.
Tina Paul, the vice mayor of the town of Surfside, told Sputnik over the weekend that the search-and-rescue operation at the site of the collapse could stretch on for weeks, if not months.
