Minibus Collides With Truck in Cote d’Ivoire Leaving 23 People Dead, 34 Injured, Report Says

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – At least 23 people have died and 34 more have been injured as a result of a car accident in southern Cote d’Ivoire, according to media reports.

According to the Fraternite Matin newspaper, a minibus collided with a truck on Thursday in Cote d’Ivoire, some 100 kilometers (62 miles) north of Abidjan, the biggest city in the country.
Out of 34 injured people, 16 have been sent to a nearby hospital, including five children. Three adults are comatose.
Eyewitnesses say that the accident was caused by a punctured tire of the minibus.
