"On 23 July, the Russian Justice Ministry included a foreign non-governmental organisation Project Media, Inc. in the list of foreign and international non-governmental organisations whose activities are recognised as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation", the ministry said in a statement.
In February, the RT broadcaster published own investigation saying that Proekt, which positions itself as independent, received funds in the form of grants from European and US authorities.
