Cube Entertainment announced on 14 August that Seo Soo-jin – known to the public as Soojin – has left the band. The agency also apologised for causing concern over the controversy and said that (G)I-dle will continue with five members.
Although Soojin has left the group, many are criticising Cube Entertainment for its conduct.
The new redacted version of (G)I-dle, who first debuted in May 2018 (with Soo-jin ), recently performed such hit songs as "Latata"; "Lion"; "Hann"; and "Oh my God."
