SM Entertainment has brought back Red Velvet with the release of the group's sixth mini-album on 16 August – and it rose to the peak of the charts in 50 countries the next day.
The new album "Queendom" topped the charts one year and eight months after the group's last release. The record shot straight to the top of the iTunes album charts in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, and Russia.
Fans are also celebrating band member Irene's comeback, who has kept a low profile since verbally abusing a fan last October. However, she's apologised and is back on form.
