At least 1,000 people were evacuated from the Hong Kong World Trade Centre in Causeway Bay due to a major fire in the building, and "dozens" remain trapped by the flames, according to police.
Reports suggested that after the evacuation was complete, there were 14 injured.
Witnesses reported thick smoke coming from the outer wall scaffolding, as the building is undergoing renovation.
The cause of the fire remains unclear.
