"According to operational data ... 40 people, including three children, were injured. Thirty of them, including children, were hospitalized, 10 received outpatient medical care. Unfortunately, six people died," Assistant to the Russian Health Minister Alexei Kuznetsov told reporters.
Earlier, Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov briefed the media on the aftermath of the Ukrainian attack.
Meanwhile, the Agro-Belogorye company that owns the attacked vehicles said that the number of people killed in the attack has increased to seven.
"Currently, there is information about seven dead employees of the Grayvoronsky and Borisov pig farms. Fifteen workers received injuries of varying degrees of severity. Information on the dead and wounded will be clarified," the company said.
Two people are in serious condition, the interlocutor added.
