The trip will include attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin, a military parade in Beijing and bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
It will be Putin’s 19th visit to China during his presidency, where he has spent a total of 47 days. The upcoming four-day trip will be the longest of his tenure.
Xi has visited Russia nine times, with his longest visit also lasting four days.
