"As a result of decisive actions, units of the Zapad battlegroup liberated the settlement of Novoosinovo in the Kharkov region," the ministry said in a statement.
The liberation of the settlement of Novoosinovo in the Kharkov region enables the Russian army's further advance towards the city of Kupyansk.
At the same time, Russia's Vostok battlegroup liberated the settlement of Lugovskoye in the Zaporozhye region, the ministry added.
Ukraine lost over 415 soldiers in combat against Russia's Tsentr battlegroup, up to 265 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated by the Sever battlegroup, over 275 by the Vostok battlegroup, up to 190 by the Zapad battlegroup, up to 155 by the Yug battlegroup, and up to 60 by the Dnepr battlegroup
Russian armed forces have also struck aviation equipment at military airfields and Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian armed forces
