ST. PETERSBURG, August 10 (RIA Novosti) - Ford Russia has resumed production at its Vsevolozhsk plant near St. Petersburg after three weeks of scheduled vacations, a company spokeswoman said on Monday.
"The plant has resumed work," the spokeswoman said.
Amid weak demand for cars, Ford's only factory in Russia switched to a four-day working week in June and suspended production for six days on July 1.
The Ford factory near Russia's second city produces Ford Focus and Mondeo models. The plant, which was opened in summer 2002, employs about 2,000 workers.
