MOSCOW, August 25 (RIA Novosti) - Russian international Diniyar Bilyaletdinov has signed for Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow for an undisclosed fee.
"We are delighted to have secured the services of Diniyar," Everton chief executive Robert Elstone said on the club's official website.
"I know [manager] David Moyes has wanted to bring him to Goodison for some time and we look forward to welcoming him."
The 24-year-old left winger has 28 international caps. He also played in every game during Russia's Euro 2008 campaign and was Lokomotiv's captain.
Lokomotiv Moscow said the player had signed a five-year deal.
"The deciding role in Diniyar's transfer was his desire to play in the English Premier League and test himself at a new level," the club said on their official website.
Bilyaletdinov becomes the fourth Russian in England's top flight, joining Andrei Arshavin (Arsenal), Yury Zhirkov (Chelsea) and Roman Pavlyuchenko (Tottenham Hotspur).
