Lev Prague has traded Slovak defenseman Michal Sersen to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, the Czech KHL team said Wednesday.

In return, Lev will receive a first-round pick in next year's KHL draft, Lev said in a website statement.

Last week, Lev traded its own first-round picks for 2013 and 2014 to SKA St. Petersburg in exchange for Czech goaltender Jakub Stepanek and the KHL rights to Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Tatar.

Sersen, 26, has scored once in his 12 appearances for Lev this season.

The Slovakian played for Avtomobilist in the 2010-11 season, when he scored up 11 points in 51 games.

He was a fifth-round draft pick for the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2005, but has never played an NHL game despite some strong performances in Canadian junior hockey.

Lev is 10th in the Western Conference, while Avtomobilist has the league’s worst record, with four wins in 21 games.
