Rio-l Trouble
Criminals in Rio (where the Summer Olympics will be held in 2016) could run free: suppliers have refused to provide criminal ankle bracelets as the city government owes them about $1mln.
The electronic anklets are usually used to control persons under house arrest who have been convicted of corruption. But over the weekend, thousands of arrestees in Rio were kept from returning home because of a shortage of ankle monitors.
