11:06 GMT 11.01.2018 (Updated: 19:32 GMT 19.10.2022) At the official CES 2018, which is currently being held in Las Vegas from January 9-12, the Japanese manufacturer presented a quartet of new robotic and AI concepts developed to make people’s lives better: to assist people in disaster recovery, recreation and learning from human interaction to become more helpful and empathetic.
Honda's advanced robot series — 3E, which stands for Empower, Experience and Empathy, seen by the company as the three ways robotics can enhance our daily lives — includes a companion bot (3E-A18), an autonomous off-road vehicle (3E-D18) and two concepts for moving people (3E-B18) and things (3E-C18).
