In St. Petersburg, the final rehearsal will be held on the Palace Square in the center of the city. About 4,500 troops will participate in the parade in Russia's second largest city. In Moscow, over 13,000 people will take part in the parade, as well as 75 aircraft.
The air traffic will be reduced on Sunday and then on Wednesday, on the day of the parade. The traffic will be shut down on these dates for several minutes in all three of Moscow's main passenger airports.
However, the work of the airports will not be seriously affected, the state air traffic watchdog noted.
