At least 15 died and 30 were wounded as a result of a double suicide attack in Syria's Idlib, the Turkish NTV broadcaster reported citing local sources.

Two blasts took place in the city centre and preliminary reports indicate that they were caused by the detonation of two cars loaded with explosives, according to NTV.

Car explosions took place in thr Al-Qusour area of Idlib city resulting in deaths and injuries however numbers remain unknown.

The blasts come after last week the presidents of Russia, Turkey and Iran held the fourth trilateral meeting on the settlement of the Syrian conflict in the Russian resort city of Sochi. According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the meeting focused on the situation in Idlib, the last major militant stronghold in Syria.
