The 14th festival of US movies, Amfest, is opening its doors to fans of American cinematography in Moscow and across Russia.
The Peanut Butter Falcon by Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz, featuring Shia LaBeouf and Dakota Fanning, opened the long-awaited event.
The festival also presented such films as short movie Nimic by Yorgos Lanthimos, family dramedy The Farewell by Lulu Wang, as well as Ad Astra by James Gray starring Brad Pitt.
The film shows are held as part of interstate cooperation, with official support from the US Embassy in Moscow.
